Description

VITA ENAMIC ® is a dual network hybrid ceramic structure that combines the best of what ceramic and composite materials have to offer. In this dual dental material, the dominant fine-structure ceramic network (86% by weight) is strengthened by an acrylate polymer network (14% by weight), with both networks fully integrated with one another.

This innovative hybrid ceramic structure provides a unique balance between high resistance (load-bearing capacity) and flexibility, with high absorbency of masticatory forces.

Product characteristics and advantages
  • Much lower brittleness than pure ceramic and better abrasion behaviour than composite
  • Much higher elasticity than traditional dental ceramics, because the acrylate-polymer network warrants good elasticity
  • Antagonist-friendly abrasive properties similar to enamel provided by the fine-structure ceramic network
Variants

VITA ENAMIC® is offered at different degrees of translucency:

  • HT (high-translucent)
  • T (translucent)
Available in five colours VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER®.
