Description

IPS e.max ® CAD is a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic block for CAD/CAM applications. This block is easy to process using CAD/CAM technologies in the crystalline intermediate stage.

The strength of material is 130 - 150[MPa resp. N/mm²] in the intermediate stage. After milling, the IPS e.max CAD block goes through crystallization in a ceramic calcinator. Unlike some other ceramic materials intended for CAD/CAM technology, the easy to implement crystallization process occurs without significant material shrinkage.

Variants

IPS e.max ® CAD HT(High Translucency)
Due to their translucency they are ideally suited e.g. for production of inlay and onlay.
Works made from HT blocks are characterized by a natural chameleon effect and extraordinary adaptability to residual teeth.
Colour shades: 16 A-D and 4 Bleach BL in 2 sizes - I 12, C 14

IPS e.max ® CAD LT(Low Translucency)
Dental prostheses made from LT blocks are characterized by a high degree of lightness and chromaticity. This prevents greying of the inserted dental prosthesis.
Colour shades: 16 A-D and 4 Bleach BL in 2 sizes - I 12, C 14

IPS e.max ® CAD MO(Medium Opacity)
Due to its opacity (degree of light permeability) this material is ideally suited for production of prostheses to be placed on vital or slightly discoloured stumps.
Group colours: MO 0 - MO 4 in one size - C 14
